50 Bengali Captions for Instagram (and T-Shirts) That Sound Like You
You took the photo. The light was perfect, the biriyani was perfect, your kurta was perfect. And now you've been staring at the caption box for twenty minutes, typing and deleting "vibes".
We've been there. A lot of our t-shirt lines started as captions someone in the team wanted to use, so we put together a list of Bengali captions that sound like a real Bengali talking, not a translation app. They're grouped by the kind of photo you're posting, most come with a quick meaning, and you can mix Bangla script and Banglish however you like.

A few tips for writing your own
- Keep it short. The best Bengali captions are five or six words. If it needs a second line, it's a paragraph.
- Use the word you'd actually say. "Lyadh" is funnier than "lazy" because nobody says "lazy" at home.
- Mix scripts if you like. Bangla script looks beautiful but Banglish is easier for friends who read Bangla slowly. Both are fine.
- Let the photo do half the work. A plate of kosha mangsho doesn't need "delicious food" underneath it. It needs "Ma r haater ranna, case closed."
If one of these lines made you laugh, there's a good chance it's already on a t-shirt. Browse our Bengali quote t-shirts or the full Bengali t-shirts collection, and want to know where some of these lines come from? Read the Bangla phrases behind our t-shirts.
